1. Noise is an increasingly large factor for the search engines. There are many automated processes that build pages and articles for 50 cents available. Look for ways to show that your site is above the noisy crud. Do this by quality of info and consider real time updates (keep it fresh).

2. There is an increasing movement among search engines to use manual reviewers. Keep this in mind.

3. Most important point: Search engines are using data from searchers. If your content is not congruent with what the search engine results pages are showing (perhaps from your meta description) they will bounce and this will count in the results.

4. Quality should become more and more of your focus because of point three.
